• Configuring QT application scaling in Fedora KDE, where apps render at the wrong size on high-DPI displays. Every random issue like this improves my CLI troubleshooting skills.

• Ditched Apple Home for Home Assistant, now configuring dashboards for my Zigbee/Thread ecosystem.

Listening

• Branching out with The Metallist on TIDAL. Turns out listening to the same NWOBHM bands on repeat wasn’t helping me discover anything new.

• Finally left Spotify after several failed attempts. TIDAL’s personalized mixes are surprisingly spot-on, and I don’t miss the podcast clutter.

• Can’t stop going back to Balthazar’s Thin Walls, an album that keeps revealing new layers.

Playing

• Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5. Finished it at launch, then restarted years later. Thought I’d lost my save, so finding it mid-story was a pleasant surprise.

• Still need to catch up on Ghost of Tsushima and Hogwarts Legacy, but at least I know what’s next.
